Learn the Qur'an
Begin your Qur'an learning journey with dedicated teachers and a structured path from letters to fluent recitation and memorization.
Beginner (Qaida)
Learn the Arabic alphabet, pronunciation, and basic rules as you prepare to recite the Qur'an.
Intermediate (Nazara)
Build fluency reading the entire Qur'an with tajwīd, clarity, and confidence.
Advanced (Hifdh)
Memorize the Qur'an with an experienced ḥāfiẓ using proven methods to retain what you learn.
Marriage services
Complete half your faith the right way—with guidance, clarity, and compassion.
Nikah (marriage ceremony)
Have your Nikah officiated by a certified scholar and imam who will walk you through the Islamic requirements, supplications, and blessings for a beautiful, meaningful start to your marriage.
Marriage counseling

Worship, learning, and community—all are welcome.
Daily prayers
All five daily prayers (Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha) are held in congregation. Join us for worship and community.
Jumu'ah (Friday prayer)
Friday congregational prayer with khutbah. Please arrive early—we welcome brothers and sisters.
Qur'an & learning
Opportunities for Qur'an study, Islamic education, and spiritual growth for all ages.
Family & youth
A family-friendly space with programs and initiatives aimed at youth and strengthening character.
Ramadan & Eid
Tarawih prayers, iftars, and Eid celebrations when the blessed month and Eid days arrive.
Community
A welcoming environment for brothers and sisters. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.
Visit us
La Porte Islamic Center currently meets in a temporary space in Deer Park, Texas. We are open for the five daily prayers and Jumu'ah.
